Why women are saying “I felt seen” after this podcast

A couple weeks ago, I joined my good friend Jordan Syatt on his podcast. And the response has been incredible.

Women from all over have been writing in to share their stories:

“I almost cried a couple times. I felt seen.”
“I finally feel encouraged that I can improve things without having surgery.”
“Listening to you made what I am experiencing feel less humiliating.”
“I’ve been trying to keep up with everyone—and that’s exactly what got me here.”
“I have been having so much trouble with energy and staying consistent. I felt less crazy after listening to you.”

We talked about things most fitness conversations skip over:

  • The link between posterior pelvic floor tension and low back pain
  • Why “pushing harder” can sometimes make things worse
  • How to train smarter so your body feels strong, stable, and pain-free again
  • My own journey of rebuilding after kids and midlife changes

Whether you’re new here because of that episode or you’ve been on my list for years, I’d love for you to listen.

And if you’re new here—and even if you’re not—let me (re) introduce myself.

I’m Stacey, a soon to be 42-year old mom of two daughters. And like most of you, I didn’t become a mother to shrivel up and die 😉 but… pregnancy, birth, and “midlife mom life” completely changed how my body looked, felt, and functioned.

After my second daughter, I couldn’t bend over—let alone swing a kettlebell. My lower back ached, sex was painful, my core felt disconnected, and nothing about training felt good anymore.

And here’s the kicker—I’d been a strength coach for 22 years.

That forced me to completely change how I viewed the human body and coached women. I dove deep into pelvic floor PT, learned from brilliant experts, and rebuilt my own strength from the ground up.

Now, I help women (especially those 35+) strength train without pain—so you can feel grounded, connected, and confident in your body again.

If you love strength training but feel stuck in an achey, frustrating cycle... you don’t have to live with back pain or a body that feels “broken.” With the right approach, you can rebuild strength, move better, and actually enjoy training doing ALL THE THINGS YOU LOVE again.

This past week I sent my 7 and 9 year old off on their first day of 2nd and 4th grade. The bus came back, they got off safely, and I was able to exhale a little. Not every mom was that fortunate. It’s no wonder moms are anxious—it’s hard NOT to carry unnecessary tension in our bodies! If I could teach all women ONE thing when it comes to strength training and their pelvic floor, it would be how to hinge well. Why? Because when you learn to hinge… You protect your low back (instead of...

If you’ve ever thought… “Why does my back ache after squats?” “Why am I leaking when I deadlift heavy?” “Why does my core still feel weak even though I’m strong?” The missing link isn’t MORE core exercises. It’s HOW you’re breathing and how your ribcage + pelvis are stacked when you move. Here’s the breakdown (and I’ve got 3 short videos for you below to SHOW you what I mean): 1️⃣ Your ribcage + pelvis have to STACK. If they’re out of alignment, your diaphragm can’t do its job and your core +...
